One of our favorite experiences ever. Beautiful place. We were taking everything in so much that we kept falling behind our group. Loved the whole experience.

A very interesting, long trek, beautiful views, with the added thrill of being on a small walkway at height. Great guided your. A really good day.

We booked the tour mainly for the Caminito del Rey, which itself was really amazing. However, the tour operator only organized entrance tickets for after 3pm, so they made a detour to a town called Osuna, where we had to spent half of the morning and even got some extra time to waste. Then we continued to drive to a restaurant on the roadside for lunch, where we also got extra time (and money for the suggested lunch) to waste. In the end, the tour took over 12h instead of the 10h as stated on the website, and we had to cancel our dinner and Flamenco show plans for the evening. This is really annoying, since almost half the day is wasted on stops that were not part of our plans.

What an experience!! It was windy so walking across the bridge was in question, but we were able to do it. I don’t do well with heights, but I was fine, as there are ropes and handles to hold onto. Since it was a tour, we got history of the area. However my handset was in and out. I would recommend this this adventure.

What a great trip this was!! My only suggestion would be that we hike in the am and visit local cities in the afternoon on the ways back. The trip started out with a stop in Osuna, a beautiful, quaint town that could use the infusion of tourist dollars to help preserve the rich history. It gives you a view of what living in a small Spanish town is really like. On to the trek! 5.5 miles of hiking on the side of a mountain is pretty thrilling. The added excitement came from crossing the suspended bridge. Everything is extremely safe. The guide kept the pace and gave the history of the area. It was definetly a worthwhile excursion!!
