What fun it was to get to explore some of the beautiful Andalucian countryside on an Arab/Andalucian Cross. Having once gone to Iceland to ride an Icelandic horse, this opportunity was too good to pass up!
We did a guided horse ride with Patricia from Naturanda which was very nice! Patricia took us for two hours through the Doñana which is a beautiful environment. Patricia told us al lot about the animals and plants. My boyfriend even saw a lynx. We had the perfect day for the horse ride with a very friendly guide.
Peaceful horse ride with Centro Visitantes Dehesa BOYAL in parque national Donana Spain. Home to Pinus pinea, Iberian Lynx, Imperial eagle- we may have seen one of these, but lynx were definitely sleeping. For sure saw wild pink flamingos !
I have never ridden a horse, so a bit nervous, but the instructor Philip was helpful and friendly enough and the horses were quite happy to have us ride with them! A fantastic experience that I will not forget.
I gifted my partner this for our anniversary. The communication with our guide and the transfer from Seville went without problems (there was a bit of a delay due to traffic but that wasn’t a big deal to us). The description said we would learn about the Andalusian horse breed as well as go for a ride and that all in all it would take around two hours (plus one hour one way for the transfer). We were disappointed that it actually only took about an hour. We arrived and were immediately put onto two horses not getting any verbal introduction or even a name of the horses and the chance to maybe pet them and connect with them first. The ride itself then was beautiful and peaceful through stunning nature. We were just a bit overwhelmed since our prior horseback riding experience was very limited and we would have really liked to learn more about the history and cultural importance of these horses. All in all it definitely was a memorable experience but I would have expected a bit more input wise and time wise due to the description given beforehand. Our guide was wonderful though and gave us many tips for Seville and Spain, which we enjoyed very much.
