You've never paddled before, right? If you're a first-time kayaker, this is the perfect option for you. We'll start from the basics, get a one-on-one lesson to get the necessary skills and confidence, then go on water.

We are Nicoló and Aleksandra, a young couple living in Venice. Members of a prominent rowing club, we practice water sports every day. We invite you to experience Venice by water with us. Let us show you Venice from another perspective — cultural, sports-oriented and local.

Learn to kayak in the authentic area of Venice - Castello, beautiful district famous for the Medieval Arsenal. We will take you to this unique Medieval site and immerse you in the history.

Visit the historically important Venetian rowing club, as it is the best place to immerse yourself in Venice's history, traditions, and contemporary life. By participating in our activities, you contribute to preserving this unique and historically significant site.

The Cao Rio kayaking training for beginners in Venice was incredible! It was my first kayaking experience and it was comfortable and memorable. Nicoló and Aleksandra were attentive and knowledgeable, the Arsenal spot really breathtaking! I enjoyed training with the rowing club members, who explained the water sports traditions and a bit of the city's history, making it a cool sport and cultural experience. It's like the cherry on top of your journey! Thank you for everything <3

We are a young couple who are passionate about exploring new places and ways of living. The idea of exploring Venice through water sports was a great one! We enjoyed our first kayak trip very much. Watching people train rowing in a historical club and then taking part in it ourselves was so exciting! I enjoyed the mixture of sport and culture. We really loved our instructor's teaching style; he taught efficiently, paying us a lot of attention, which we greatly appreciated. Thanks to Nicolò, we also learned about the places we trained in, its history, and significance to the city. This is a very cool training format! He also took some photos of us that are beautiful, and we have a great memory and new kayaking skills, of course! Highly recommended!

You have a gorgeous scenery to train in that inspires you in this kayaking class! It was a dream of mine to try kayaking in Venice. This class with Cao Rio prepared me well for the specifics of the city you'll face as a kayaker. As the class focuses on basic techniques and balance training, it's great for getting confidence and preparing for the narrow canals of the city. The great instructor who tells a lot about Venice's water sports tradition gives a lot of insights and perfectly explains everything so you get confidence pretty quickly. Thank you, Nicolò!

I tried kayaking for the first time here in Venice and it was the perfect experience. I was taught by an excellent professional Nicolò. I appreciated his meticulous approach, attention to my skills and abilities. Very effective format, short but productive, perfect for preparing debutantes for group kayaking in the canals. Also, I was shown a wonderful historic site - Arsenal, with its medieval walls and picturesque surroundings, and visited the rowing club, which gave me inspiration. When I am ready for kayaking in the canals, I will return to Venice to improve my kayaking skills with Cao Rio!
