Next, take a picture stop in Zurich's Old Town (Altstadt), which dates back to medieval times. This tour was full of fun facts! If nothing else the tour was helpful for learning my way around the city. There really weren't a lot of scenic views, but part of that could have been because of the clouds and rain which were present all day. The lake cruise was nothing special, but the Lindt museum was great! Also, the guide recommended a walk which I took the next day and it was a green space in the middle of the city! Lastly, I met some fun people on the tour which made it a great time!

This tour is fantastic if you would like a little taste of multiple things. If you are looking for an extremely in-depth tour of Zurich, including sights and history, this may not be the tour for you because it is not designed that way. It was a great way to get my bearings around the core of the city so that I could explore on my own afterwards. We got a little taste of some of the sights, such as the 4 Protestant churches, and a gorgeous boat ride along the lake. The final stop at the Lindt museum, just by itself, made the tour worth it for me and I am far from a chocolate fanatic. For those looking for a more comprehensive experience of the city, I would suggest perhaps beginning with this tour to get a sense of what is around, and then try to hone in on what really interests you. For me as a traveller from Canada visiting Switzerland for a few days for work, this was perfect! I had never been to Switzerland before, and I'm generally not great at planning out activities for myself, so this was incredible because I got a taste of a number of things, and the next time I return I can focus in on the things I enjoyed most.

Fun and informative, with lots of chocolate samples. The walking tour could have been longer because I felt like there was much more to see in old time. We could have skipped the first part driving around and getting lost. *the guide Lars was great!

Thank you! ________________________________________ LINDT Home of Chocolate, Cruise On Lake Zurich And Old Town Walking Tour Zurich Good but needs a few things to be better 879633898 Meeting place is within walking distance of main railways station. Check in was fine however would be an issue if raining as no shelter. The guide started of good giving details as we drove around the city however when we did the walking part she got ahead and did not always wait for the whole group to catch up, but with 40/45 people that is always a problem. When we arrived at the ferry wharf for the cruise on the lake people just lined up on the wharf but apparently we had seats booked but this was not told to us before we tried to board. Needed to be better explained. The tour of the Lindt Home of Chocolate was interesting however if you listen to all the audio tour you will be there for hours. There was an issue with getting through the entrance but not sure what the problem was but meant there was a long queue. Free chocolate tasting and near the end you get to sample the Lindt Balls. 8 different flavours and we took one of each. Ferry ride back to the city where you are then left to your own devices and you still have a public transport ticket that lasts until about lunchtime the next day.
