As I was born and raised in the coastal and multicultural city of Agadir, I developed a deep love for food. As I have been meeting hundreds of travelers from all over the world, I can confidently say that the Moroccan food is definitely one the amazing things they find interesting here, and here I am hosting food tours!

Moroccan cuisine is usually a mix of Berber, Arab, Andalusi, and Mediterranean cuisines, rich with its spices, flavorings, and herbs.

What Can You Expect?

All the foods are included, as well as taxi pickup and drop-off inside Agadir city!
Contact me if you’re outside Agadir, I can arrange your transportation :)

Before starting the tour, you’ll receive an infographic guideline along with the tour planning.
You’ll get to taste 12 to 14 different local foods while explaining each dish and its relevance to our culture. The tour is located in the NON-TOURISTIC areas including a walking tour in the big souk.

At the end of the tour, I’ll send you my foods cards collection for the memory!

    We had a fantastic food tour with Abdel.He had thoroughly researched all the stops on the tour. Abdel took us to some great local restaurants and street food stalls. The food ,drinks and sweet snacks were really tasty. We learnt a lot about Moroccan food and culture during the evening. He was well organised and communicated well about pick up . He sent us cards after the tour with details about all the dishes we tried during the evening which was a nice touch .I would highly recommend this tour.

    The tour covers a number of different stops and traditional dishes in local neighbourhoods. The guide is knowledgeable and tells a lot about the food and local life in Morocco and Agadir. There is no rush and plenty of food, which is not always the case in similar tours in other countries. After the tour participants are provided additional info on the dishes they have tried. I liked the tour a lot.

    We had a great time with Abdel. We took the tour at Ramadan so it was a little bit different but very authentic. We tasted many delicious local dishes and got to know a part of Agadir we would not have gone to without Abdel. We highly recommend the tour, but be aware to come with an empty stomach, there is a lot of delicious food and drinks to taste! Also Abdul is a very communicative and openminded person, we had a lot of fun together. The tour is the best way to get to know the culture and typical local specialities.

    The food tour was a fantastic experience and an amazing introduction to the traditional dishes of Morocco. We started with a traditional meal to break our fast for iftar as we came during the holy month of Ramadan, Abdel gave us great insight into what all the different foods of eggs and dates were, it was great to share that experience. All the local food at our first stop was fantastic, a mix of sweet and savoury. We got a great mix of local delicious, tagine, cakes, sugar cane and snails!! We were picked up from our apartment and dropped off afterwards, Abdel organised it all and made it so easy. He was friendly, knowledgable. The tour felt very safe and he knew the best spots in town, finished with an amazing smoothie at the end of the 3 hour tour. It’s the only food tour weve had with goodie bags to take away and things left over for breakfast. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to experience the wonderful variety of Moroccan cuisine when visiting Agadir.

    First time doing a food tour, it was an amazing experience. Abdel was an excellent host, very warm, friendly and catering. The food was lovely and the drinks were splendid. Would definitely recommend for anyone in Agadir, we will definitely come back.
