Itinerary
Day 1: Day 1 and arrival to Stengelsen Husky
Stop At: Stengelsen Husky, Gargiaveien 25 A, 9518 Alta, Norway
Welcome to the kennel and accommodation in the cabin, you will be given winter clothes and winter shoes, after this we go to the kennel to greet the dogs and get ready for a sled ride, you drive with your own sled and dogs. we start the trip through the forest and follow the alta river for a bit before we come to some open fields, we will cross a car road, we drive a bit in the forest before we turn around and follow the same road back to the kennel, this trip is about 1 hour.
You have also experienced whether clothes are good enough for the cold or whether you need something extra for the next day.

Day 2: long trip Alta vally
Stop At: Eibyelva, Alta, Norway
this is the main trip, we follow the same route with the dogs as the first day but continue up the Alta valley, we will follow a river for a bit before we drive into the forest, after this we will come to a steep ascent to get up the mountain, here you have to help your dogs. when we get up on the mountain we will stop to give the dogs a little break, we drive in the mountain for a while and will also stop to drink something hot and eat something simple. after this we drive down from the mountain, the descent is very steep so now we have to brake well, we follow the same way back. on this trip we will see a lot of moose tracks, if we are lucky we will see the moose
