Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe that settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. Upon arrival, you will begin the trip on horseback to the canyon to the so-called Siq, and then by foot to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Among other monuments you will see are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh’s Castle. Petra was also chosen to be one of the New 7 Wonders of the world.

The experience in Petra was amazing!!! I booked this service one day in advance and the driver confirmed without any problem. He also replied my questions immediately. For the pick up at the hotel he was very punctual. During the trip he drove very safely and I felt comfortable all the time. WiFi was available during the trip and worked perfectly all the time. I took my time in Petra as I needed, no stress at all. As I had a headache after the long walk, the driver was so kind that he even got some medicine, water and coffee for me. I definitely recommend JO VIP and thank the driver for the excellent service.

As hard as our vacation in Jordan started, it ended so wonderfully. Unfortunately I had to cancel our trip to the Dead Sea on Tuesday due to the terrible weather and when I wrote to Omar (who is the most fantastic tour guide I have ever met❤️) about it to change it to another day, he very kindly changed it without a problem. He organized a fantastic day for us on Wednesday. We visited Madaba, Mount Nebo and our last stop was the Dead Sea. Omar was very helpful and patient with us. He is a fantastic person! We left for Petra at six in the morning on Thursday. It was fantastic to see the sunrise on the way. Omar took us on this long journey. Petra is a fantastic place. Beautiful and monumental. Unfortunately, we couldn't watch it all, it takes at least a whole day. We, on the other hand, continued on to Wadi Rum, so this Petra road was shorter for us. Wadi Rumba Omar organized a jeep tour for us. It was a fantastic experience and a beautiful place. At the end of the day, we headed back to Amman. Omar led the way back. He had great patience, even though he didn't eat or drink anything all day because of Ramadan. Amazing person. I can only recommend him and his expertise to everyone❤️❤️

It was all well organized, Ahmad was very helpful and professional. We add then one night in the bubbles in wadi rum with a tour in the desert and the afternoon at the Dead Sea. The car had wifi which was really useful. We can definitely recommend.

Ahmad made out trip to Petra exceptional! He was extremely kind , always willing to help with everything we needed. In a professional level it's worth mentioning that he's driving safely and the car is in excellent condition. The service was so good that we booked with him another trip the next day.
