Good museum if you are into museums. My friend enjoyed it and said it’s worth every penny! For me it was a very good experience as I’m not a big museum person

The canal cruise was a great 1.5 hour introduction to Amsterdam. Another great way to see the city from a different perspective. We took so many photos.

Best ride after a visit at Rijksmuseum. very nearby! Great narrative in English by the captain with other languages with ear phones. Nice overview of neighborhoods and local attractions. Highly recommended

Very nice cruise and the helmsman was really funny and available. The city is amazing and full of history. The helmsman also made a time lapse video of the cruise so he could send it to us by email.

Sadly this canal boat tour was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we got on the boat we had a taste of what was to come. The captain seemed to be completely fed up that he was having to take us out - there were only 4 people on board. No welcoming smile or help with getting on board. The commentary began but he immediately switched off the safety announcement saying that if the boat sank we could either sink or swim - there were also various expletives thrown in for good measure. Presumably he thought he was being funny - gallows humour perhaps? - but we didn't appreciate it. He also switched off the commentary about the history of Amsterdam at the beginning saying that it was all about colonialism - or words to that effect. He also said he wasn't going to mention the Anne Frank house - not sure why. And so the tour continued. The commentary was switched on and off to suit him. It was hard to know where we were and I was glad to have a map of my own so that we could see when we were going past various sites (not mentioned in the commentary - including the Rembrandt House - surely important?). The final straw was when the captain abandoned the wheel of the boat and went out on the top of the boat - presumably to smoke. We had also hit a couple of bridges along the way. So for us a totally bad experience and a waste of an hour (not 75 minutes as specified) - and a waste of money.
