My name is Gregorios I'm a local Athenian and I am a Physical Education teacher and a profecianal outdoor sport event coordinator. I'm asking you to join our urban training running team of Athens A.T.U.R.

Athens has some incredible hidden alleys inside the area of Placa. I have selected a perfect urban trail for you and I’m asking you to join me, experience Athens through my eyes and have a unique run!

Forget any type of vehicle and trust your feet!

What Can You Expect?

A unique run expience that will never forget.

▶Other things to note:
-The running tempo of the experience is always determined by the level of the group.
-Please mind that, as the experience might get intense, I wouldn’t recommend to join if you suffer from heart diseases or orthopaedic issues.
-Also, a full stomach wouldn’t be wise, so I recommend a light meal before we start e.x. banana or an oat snack eg.

▶Keep in mind:
- The experience doesn't include any visits inside or outside archaeological sites/museums
- This is not a guided tour (historical information) but a run through the centre of Athens.
- This is not a tourist tour but a running sport experience.
- We highly recommend sneakers or running shoes!

    • The experience is an outdoor sport experience, that is why there are always some dangers we can not predict (injuries, extreme fatigue etc), that is why we ask you to always be alert during the experience. The runners take the full responcibility for the dangers of running outdoors.
    • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
    • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
    • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers
    • Confirmation will be received at time of booking

    Really lovely experience, Grigios was very friendly and accommodating. There was just me so we did a slightly longer run, stopped whenever I wanted for photos & learnt some things about Athens! If you’re looking for a run, I highly recommend!

    Really enjoyed my casual early morning run with George. It was the perfect start to the day got me outside seeing Athens in the morning lights with someone who knew where to go had a predefined route that hit a lot of great things and it was mindless but fun just perfect!

    Incredible experience with our guide George. Took us to some brilliant spots around central Athens and some nice neighbourhoods nearby. Brilliant views and great company throughout. As the guests, you can set the pace to however it may feel comfortable. Would 1000% recommend to anyone who likes to keep active on holiday. Did this experience on the first day of our holiday and has given us such a good map of where to go for the rest of the trip.
