This trip was perfect for a solo traveler like myself who wanted to explore outside of Athens but didn’t want to do it alone. Our tour guide and driver were excellent and made sure we got the most out of our trip. Highly recommend this trip if you enjoy the ancient history of Athens but want to experience a different scenery!

Dominique, our tour guide, was extremely articulate in providing us with much history. We enjoyed the trip through the countryside from Athens. We were disappointed though because despite it being an English day trip we had one French couple in our group, so every time Dominique explained an attraction to us she then had to repeat the whole spiel in French. This made us run out of time and unfortunately we did not get to see the amphitheatre, which is what we were most interested in.

So many tourists were packed into small spaces but our guide kept us together and well informed. The included lunch was better than expected at a nice hotel in Delphi with a view.

Our guide was great. Can’t remember her name as it was 15 characters long. Beautiful setting, relaxed ride on the bus with guide occasionally telling us stuff. If I had to do it over I would not have opted for the lunch in a hotel and would have found our own place to eat with a more authentic Greek lunch.
