Absolutely amazing, more than we hoped for. Our Guide Vanda was so helpful that nothing was too much trouble for her. Her English was excellent and she showed us so much in the 5 days we were traveling. We learnt so much about the Thai way of life, as well as their History this could never have been achieved any other way. Only disappointment was the Teak Garden Hotel and Spa is Chiang Rai and I would encourage the organizers to try and find alternative accommodation. If it wasn't for this hotel I would have definitely given it 5 stars. Anyone thinking of going should ask for a different hotel to the Teak garden and ask for Vanda as your guide she made us feel like celebrities making sure everything was just right

This was a wonderful tour of northern Thailand. There were just my husband and I on the tour, so it was virtually a private tour! Phurin and driver, Sompong, were very good ambassadors of their country. Phurin's explanations of the history and culture of Thailand made the tour fascinating. And because there were just the two of us, we could spend as much time as required at a site- we never felt rushed. The tour covers a huge area, from Bangkok to the Burmese border- over 750 kms. so we were traveling a lot. Meals? The first days lunch was amazing and the next several days were okay. Buffet style meals can go from wonderful to ho-hum unfortunately. The final evening in Chiang Mai was a northern Thailand feast- Khun Khanhoke- and it was wonderful. The hotels were great although the beds ranged from hard to harder! The itinerary is VERY full and we saw everything listed! Highlights: elephants at the sanctuary, the lantern festival Loi Kratong that we were fortunate to see in Chiang Mai, the tour to Burma and the Golden Triangle, the hordes of monkeys of Lopburi, the jungle rampant with teak trees, vines, flowers.

My guide was perfect! The itinerary was comprehensive and well balanced. The hotels were very nice, and the food was very good. I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone who asks!

Only my wife and I on tour. Guide very helpful, sometimes too attentive. Sights helped us get a much better appreciation of Thailand than we had formed just in Bangkok.
Food seemed monotonous, certainly not up to Bangkok standard.
    First nights accommodation needs refurbishing.

We were picked up on time by our guide Shannon. We were the only ones on this tour and so we had a chauffeur driven car together with our guide. The car was extremely comfortable and our guide spoke very good English and was excellent. As we was now on a private tour we spent longer at some places than if on a group tour you would have been able to. The places we saw and having the guide tell us all about them was absolutely brilliant. We even slotted in some extra places that the guide thought we should see. The hotel accommodation was very good, although we have found not only on this trip but when you have buffet type food in the restaurants of the hotels, the food lets the hotel down. Perfectly acceptable but not as good as it should be. The evening at Khum Khantoke was very enjoyable and the food was good there. We saw and done so much on this tour and found it fascinating, very enjoyable a great way to see Thailand away from Bangkok.
