I did a bundle service with pick up from the hotel to the airport plus the fast track . Hotel pick didn’t turn out to be that good but fast track was excellent. I stayed at radisson blue plaza hotel on sukumvitt road. Hotel was great but it’s a nightmare getting in and out of the hotel . Never seen this much traffic. Our hotel pick up was exactly one hr late despite arranging 4 hrs before departure. We exchanged at least 10 phone calls with the local operator about the whereabouts of the driver . She was helpful in updating me about the whereabouts of our driver but couldn’t help more then that as traffic was jammed . I even got the drivers number but unfortunately there is a big language barrier. He couldn’t tell me where he is . We had no choice but to wait for him as there was not enough time to arrange another transportation. We literally had to walk with our luggage to the street to a block to catch the van early as even pulling in and out of hotel lobby would have wasted another 30 minutes. It took us one and half hr to reach the airport once in the van . Fast track came very handy and we reached there 10 minutes before boarding. The only thing to blame is Bangkok traffic. Lessons learned . Plan way ahead for airport departure. Stay away from staying at that area as traffic is jammed there on a daily basis . We also stayed at Marriott marquee on sukkummit and it wasn’t that bad there . Departure 4 hrs before flight time would have worked from that location but still not enough where Radisson blu plaza is located . Five stars to fast track but a bit pricy if you have more people in your group and you are paying for everyone. I cannot take away this experience from the wonderful Thailand trip . La Vacanza Travel worked perfect for all other excursions. They were very professional and always on time . Best site to use while in Thailand if you are not using any tourist company. Also very impressed with the hospitality of Thai people . A must do country to visit in south east Asia
