The transfer NEVER HAPPENED as no one could ever get in touch with the vendor. No one showed up and I had to end up taking a cab. Very disappointed

Our driver did not wait for us to disembark from our ship. After contacting your office we were told he arrived at 8am and left at 8.15am. We were not allowed to leave the ship till 8.15 , so was out at the terminal waiting at 8.30. We waited for 2 hours and had to call a taxi. Pathetic and a total waste of money. Other drivers waited for over 2 hours. Would not use or recommend your company again.

We booked a private transfer from the cruise port to the city centre but the taxi never arrived. We had to pay for another taxi from a taxi rank. When We complained to La Vacanza Travel they said that the driver claimed “you did not show up” and refused a refund. However, we were at the agreed pick-up on the pier 30 minutes early and waited until 25 minutes after the pickup time. The pickup was at the single exit from the ship and we were told not to walk away from that point. We adhered to that absolutely. The driver apparently claimed that we did not answer his calls and messages but none was received and we were unable to contact the emergency help number. The attitude of La Vacanza Travel has been high-handed and disappointing to say the least. It seems that if the driver says we did not show up then we must be dishonest - someone certainly is but it is not us! La Vacanza Travel then refused to communicate further - hmm!
