On our menu you will have the chance to enjoy the traditional Catalan tomato bread, Murcian cured tuna, Basque pintxo "Gilda", local paprika, artisan cheese, Atlantic Ocean anchovies and the sexy hand-cut Iberian ham.
Our 3 chosen wines, all of them Spanish or Catalan DO (Geographical Indicator Wine), are well paired with the food offered.
On this tour we will cover the main ingredients, products and recipes of the Spanish cuisine.

What Can You Expect?

Our tour combines both sight seeing and gastro experience like a local. We will introduce you to the stunning history and culture of Barcelona on the way to each restaurant.
In our three hours tours we will walk through the Gothic quarter and la Barceloneta, the famous fisher's neighborhood.
By the end of the tour you will be half Catalan!

Ibor was a fantastic guide and very accommodating. It was a really memorable evening visiting places and meeting people I would have missed if left to my own devices. I highly recommend!

The guide was very nice and friendly. The places, food and drinks were not what we expected. We bought a cat in a bag. We think the money would have been better spent visiting a high class local restaurant.

We met Libor and spent the next few hours being entertained and superbly fed and watered. Libor had a fund of knowledge and shared it in a highly entertaining manner. Each bar had a history that was the backdrop to a variety of tapas and some excellent wine, cava and more. We made some new friends and saw and tasted things that we would never have come across had we gone under our own steam. Don't miss this tour!

Libro was an absolutely amazing host, and the group we were lucky enough to be paired were fantastic company! What a great night. My family and I had so much fun that we didn't want the evening to end so we continued drinking in the Gothic Quarter long after Libro left to tend to his wife at home who is expecting any day. So kudos to him for having the dedication to taking us out despite his wife being home for the evening! The evening started in the Mercado of the Gothic quarter, with an explosion of sound and colour. It was truly breathtaking. From there we continued deep into the tiny streets of the neighborhood to some hand-picked bars and historical locations that gave us a true feel for the area and a fun memorable night to boot. Libro was so friendly and informative about the area, we felt like we were with an old friend the entire night. And speaking of friends, the strangers with whom we started the evening became close friends by the end of the night. What a great concept and fantastic outcome to a memorable night in Barcelona! We had so much fun and highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stroll around the Gothic Quarter and explore what the night has to offer with new-found friends and an informed local.

The BEST! Libor (hope the spelling is right) was our tour guide and we could not have had a better time. This was the best way to learn about the food scene in Barcelona. Libor was incredibly knowlegable and just great to hang out with. He gave us alot of info about Catalonian and Spanish history which really helped to contextualize where we were. You have to do this. The best.
