Meet your guide at 9:00am in the center of Bordeaux and drive to the Medoc wine region. Listen to explanations about the Bordeaux wines during the journey to the chateaux.

Around 10:00am, arrive at a prestigious estate. Walk around the vineyards and cellars, learn about the estate’s wine-making process, finish with wine tastings and savor these blends alongside some fresh bread and French cheeses.

Your tour will conclude with drop-off back in Bordeaux.

Went on a wine tour with Kaio who was an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide. He took us on a chateau tour of the Medoc region. He was so kind, educated and patient with our group. I learned so much on this tour. Thank you Kaio for an excellent and memorably visit of the Medoc region.

The tour guide, Regis, was good, despite some car trouble. He was very informative and gave us lots of info about the Bordeaux area. However, I did not enjoy the tour at the Chateau. I’ve done tons of wine tours and this was my least favorite. From my understanding, the Chateau is not family owned, but owned by a company, and you can tell the difference. The tour was technologically advanced which took away from the usual experience and appreciation of the winemaking process. A few videos were projected on different surfaces throughout the tour and the tour guide didn’t offer much additional (not even during the tasting). If you don’t care much about the winemaking process and just want to drink wine, this would be cool. But as a wine enthusiast, I didn’t like it much. The guide wasn’t very engaging during the tasting. Also, during the tasting, my friend asked to try one of the one wines again to see if she wanted to purchase it, and she wasn’t allowed. I’ve never seen anyone denied a second taste at a tasting. So we didn’t purchase any bottles.
