The Médoc, which stretches over 80 km, is a peninsula that takes shape north of the Bordeaux agglomeration and ends at the Pointe des Graves. The wine route, which crosses it, is long and winding and offers you time to discover a mosaic of plots, dotted with castles of very different styles, sometimes flamboyant, sometimes romantic, sometimes austere. You will be amazed by this legendary route.

Dauzac is the first Château which borders the legendary Route des Châteaux. Fifth Classified Growth in Margaux appellation.
It was his steward who invented the "Bordeaux porridge", made from copper sulphate and water. Still used today, this treatment is one of the few authorized in organic farming.
You will be offered a tasting of the property's wines at the end of the visit.

Until the 19th century, the Léoville estate was one of the largest and oldest crus in the Médoc. The vineyard stretched from Château Beychevelle to Château Latour. Divided into three parts, the Châteaux Léoville Las Cases, Léoville Barton and Léoville Poyferré remain today.
The guide of the castle will share with you the secrets of the work of the vine, the different techniques used for winemaking and the methods of aging in oak barrels.
