Join our guided tour, telling the story of Brunel and how his designs have shaped our wonderful city of Bristol. By joining one of our small group tours, you will be in the safe hands of our highly trained tour guide. Who will tell the story of Bristol and Brunel, we have a number of locations you will be able to have your photos taken in front of Brunel’s landmark locations.

Along the tour we will take you to locations, including the SS Great Britain, Clifton Seawalls with amazing views along the river Avon and Brunel’s Bridge, we have the chance to walk over the Clifton Bridge, have your photo taken with Brunel’s Statue followed by taking a look at the original passenger shed built for the Great Western Railway.

Our tour guides will are on hand to answer any questions you have, and give more information about any points of interest for you. Subject to time and access restrictions, our driver and guide’s maybe able to add additional points of interest onto the tour as requested.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Brunel's SS Great Britain, Gas Ferry Road Great Western Dockyard, Bristol BS1 6TY England

We stop on the Hotwells side of the harbor providing you with one of the best locations to take photos of Brunel’s ship.

Duration: 8 minutes

Stop At: Clifton Suspension Bridge, Suspension Bridge Road Leigh Woods, Bristol BS8 4AP England

We stop within minutes of the Bridge, providing you with an option to walk over the Bridge with our tour guide.

Duration: 10 minutes

Pass By: Bristol Temple Meads Station, Bristol BS1 6QF England

We will be passing by Temple Meads Stations, as well as the original passenger shed.

Pass By: Queen Square, Off Prince Street, Bristol BS1 4NH England

We will look at Queen Square, one of the locations where Sarah Guppy and her family lived. As well as the site of the Bristol Riots.

    This walking tour was really fun and informative. I highly recommend it. Mr Brunel was perfectly in character for the whole of our walk, and so very knowledgeable about “his“ life.
