It was a rainy morning. There were a few platypuses according to others in the group although I missed them! Still a great walk.

Amazing experience for nature lovers. Informative tour guide who was just lovely, she has invested a lot of time finding locations that ensure a high spotting rate and on the day we saw 3 - 4 multiple times. For photographers highly recommend taking more video than photos - the morning light conditions, distance and speed with which they appear and disappear makes getting a good clear shot challenging even for top-tier equipment. Regret not simply taking more footage. Breakfast afterwards was a good and healthy start to the day.

I absolutely loved this tour and would do it again. It was the first time that I had seen a platypus in the wild and I was not disappointed! Our group was lucky enough to spot not one, but six individuals! It was an easy and pretty walk in a surprising location. Tom was a wonderful guide and I learned a few new facts about these amazing creatures. I now know what to look for to spot a platypus in the wild.

I really enjoyed this! Wendy was really knowledgeable, and concerned to make the tour as enjoyable as possible. Also, she supplied an excellent picnic breakfast!
