A great way to discover and explore Cambridge! Very rewarding and would recommend. Clues were just the right degree of difficulty but one clue at Kings was in French, not Latin. Overall, was great.

This is the fifth Mystery Guide we have done, so we are becoming quite experienced and obviously we really enjoy doing them. We know Cambridge fairly well, but, as always, it took us to some out of the way places that we did not know. It appeared to be fairly compact and an excellent walk. The clues were very doable, a couple were a bit tricky, some were very simple. However this is probably because we are getting used to the mind of the clue setter. One of the great pleasures of doing Mystery Guides is the different pubs that they introduce. Unfortunately in Cambridge they only did three pubs, one down on our previous trips. Also The Mitre, whilst a nice pub, was a chain pub. (Although Brighton also had a W'spoons) I'm sure there are much more historic interesting pubs in Cambridge. All in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable day in the November sunshine, seeing so much of Cambridge. Thank you for these guides, they are becoming our guilty pleasure. We still have 3 more to do, Oxford, Winchester and Stratford, but I guess that we will wait for the new year to start on these. Again I will add some photos, but they will not be spoilers.

What a lovely day we spent in Cambridge, the sun shone the quiz was lots of fun. Being involved in the story line of the quiz as well as learning about the history of the City was great, some of the clues were a little trickier than others, our own fault really, note to self ‘read the clues properly and remember to look up as well as around’ ,we even managed to take a break in the middle by taking a punt down the river. Pubs were great especially the RAF bar at the end, great history in there, on the downside the car parking charges are horrendous. Now on to the next book, highly recommended.

The mystery takes you to parts of Cambridge you may not have seen before. The details on architecture, on pavements and 3-D models made the whole experience engaging, fun and just challenging enough 👍
