Group Surf Experience in Cape Town

Itinerary

We'll pick you up from one of our collection points around the city and then transfer you to the beach with the best conditions on the day of your booking. Upon arrival at the beach, we will allocate gear and then hit the sand and sea for a 1.5 hours surf lesson. No experience is required as our qualified and experienced coaches will take you through the basics. Our group lessons are catered for those who are new to surfing or for those wanting to brush up on their skills. A private lesson is more suited to those who consider themselves an intermediate surfer.

Whilst the surf lesson activity itself is 1.5 hours long, the full experience is typically 3.5-4 hours including transfers from the city to the beach, changing into and out of gear and then returning back to the city.

• Participants average clothing size (S, M, L or XL) MUST be advised at time of booking
• We recommend bringing along:
• Swimsuit/boardshorts
• Towel
• Sunscreen (waterproof or zinc)
• Warm sweater
• Bottle of water
• We advise that you leave all your valuables at home/accommodation
• Not recommended for travelers with back problems
• Not recommended for pregnant travelers
• No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
• Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
• This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
• This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers
• Confirmation will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability

When making your booking, please choose a pick-up location that is closest to your accommodation. If you're unsure, please send us a message advising us of your accommodation address so that we can reply with the closest pick-up point and collection time. The following is the pick-up schedule for our morning and afternoon lesson slots (please note the suburb your lodging is located in to determine your approximate pick-up time):

Camps Bay:          8:00-8:15am  OR  1:00-1:15pm

City & Sea Point : 8:15-8:30am  OR  1:15-1:30pm

Green Point:          8:30-8:45am  OR  1:30-1:45pm

Woodstock:           8:45-9:00am  OR  1:45-2:00pm

Observatory:         8:45-9:00am  OR  1:45-2:00pm
