What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

Table Mountain offers some of the most unique and dramatic climbing experiences you can find on earth! We will usually take the Cable Car up and abseil/rappel down the cliff that we will be climbing. Depending on the time of day we will be climbing above the Atlantic Ocean (Camps Bay) or above Cape Town City Centre, either way, it's mind-blowing. The climbing is all traditional (no bolts are in the rock) and it will involve 3-4 pitches (+- 100m/300ft.) of climbing.

Grades and Skill level:
- It is advised to have a basic level of rock-climbing experience but most of our clients have never done a multi-pitch before!
- Grades are adjusted for each client and their needs.

I was alone with Kai because my friend got sick. But that wasn't a problem. We found a suitable tour for me. The level was really perfect, even though I hadn't climbed for a long time. I always felt safe and had a lot of fun the whole afternoonwith a great view. I can really recommend it to everyone

Highly recommend!! Safe! We loved our climb with Kai. His gear placement was secure and appropriately spaced. Kai was supportive and very knowledgeable about the area. The climb has fabulous views and some great exposure. After abseiling in, we did a four pitch climb with super grippy feet on quartzite sandstone. No crack skills needed, it’s all easier face climbing. He provided excellent beta both on and off the rock.

This was epic. It was my first time outdoor climbing and experiencing Table Mountain and Cape Town this way couldn’t have been better. Alex is a fantastic guide with so much knowledge and everything was done meticulously, with lot’s of 1o1 explanation. The routes were personalizes to my level (I was solo) and everything was thrilling. I would do it again in a heartbeat and I recommend this to whoever has at least a bit of climbing experience and is looking for an adventure. You will not regret it.

I January 2024 I did a full day of rock climbing at Table Mountain with Kai. I knew Kai from a previous climbing tour and contacted him if we could climb table mountain together. Kai is a very skilled climber and explains every expect of the climb very well which makes climbing with Kai a very nice and learningful experience. We did 2 multi pitch trad routes in which we also touched some more serious sections (french 6B). So if you are already a more experienced climber as I'm (7a red point), it's a lot of fun to go climbing with Kai on table mountain! Kai runs a professional business with high regard for safety. Communication beforehand super and Kai is just a super friendly and nice guy to be around. Bottom line I highly recommend climbing with Kai and for people who haven't climbed table mountain yet, do it! It's an amazing experience, the rock is fantastic and the views over Cape Town and the coast line makes it very special.

Kai is a awesome guide, who in a very chilled way gets you out of your comfort zone. Felt safe the whole time, and it was a lovely experience I wouldnt want to mis!!
