Overview

Join us on one of the most popular heritage tours in South Africa and experience more about South African history by taking a boat trip to Robben Island museum and see the prison cell where former president Nelson Mandela was incarcerated as a political prisoner. Then, take a tour to the Penguins main colony at Boulder's beach, finish the day with full exploration of the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point nature reserve. Peace of mind as your Robben Island Tickets are pre booked in advance  soon after we have received your booking. This is truly one of the most amazing tours you will ever embark on. An unbelievable experience. Alfani was a brilliant guide, providing fascinating insights and friendly conversation throughout. Such varied experiences, from the emotional visit to Robben Island, the breathtaking Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point and the fantastic Boulders Beach with their penguins. Couldn’t have asked for more from the day.

We started the day at Robben Island which was really enjoyable. The tour of the prison was conducted by a previous inmate and it was so interesting to hear first hand stories. Next stop Boulders Beach and the Penguins. This was great, so many of them, some swimming, some sitting on their eggs and two cute ones holding "hands" walking into the distance. Next stop Cape if Good Hope which offers spectacular views. Lunch at Two Oceans was amazing. Final stop was Cape Point which was a bit of a trek to the top in the heat but we'll worth the effort. The views on the drive to and from the Cape if Good Hope were stunning. A great day out, just be prepared for a long day.

Our tour was ace. Our guide Ross was so knowledgable and made us really ready for our day. He even fitted in Table Mountain as there were only 4 of us on the excursion. Nothing too much trouble and he took our photos and we had the best time of our lives. He explained the atrocities of the appartide and joined in with our discussions. We liked our insight into Robben Island and he made sure we got our ferry.

A fantastic tour! Thomas was our guide and was so knowledgeable about the areas we visited. He was extremely helpful when a person decided to join at the last minute. He was extremely professional and made sure we saw everything we wanted to see. Even when we were running a little late he didn't cut corners and he went above and beyond what was listed for the tour..it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this tour if you want to see some of the highlights of the Capetown area. The scenery was beautiful and touring Robben island should be the top of anybodies must do. I really enjoyed everything and can't recommend it enough..sit back and relax and Thomas will tell you everything you need to know about what you are seeing 🙂🙂🙂👏👏😋

Ray was amazing! Our first time to S. Africa and Robben Island ferry was closed because of technical issues (half of our day tour), so he drove us around all the highlights and it was more than we could imagine. He rescheduled our Robben Island tour for the next day on our own. He was very informative, clear and friendly. Highly recommend!
