It was a such a pleasure to meet Nelson from Lwafika Tours and join him in exploring various parts of West Cape. Even with short notice, Nelson was able to organize a very custom tailored and bespoke experience both for my large group as well as later for just me solo. We had a wonderful tour of wine country which included learning from Nelson’s vast knowledge of the history of wine in the region and the wine production process, along with amazing food pairings throughout the day. Afterwards we toured all the amazing natural scenic locations and wildlife of the region, saw penguins, went on a safari, and learned the history of the Cape of Good Hope. Lastly, Nelson organized a visit to the Langa Township, which was such an informative and immersive experience—a must to experience the real South Africa, and appreciate the history and hardship that people have went through. I know I will definitely return to South Africa, and will definitely choose Lwafika to organize my next adventure and support this great small business!

In October of 2022 we had the privilege to experience a number of different tours with Lwafika Tours and Transfers. As part of a study tour to The Eastern and Western Cape. We finished our study tour in Capetown. As a group we did a mix of the Gospel and township tour. Getting to meet people in Langa, hearing their stories and experiencing their community in their local church is a must. The people in Langa have a lot of challenges and entrepreneurs as Nelson (Lwazi) gives back to the community. A few of our group enjoyed the Cape tour with sights as Cape Point and Seal Island in the following days. While a few others went with Nelson on the whine tour. What we enjoyed was that Nelson made sure he listened to our whishes and at the same time kept the culture and habits of the local culture intact. As an example, he does tell you as a group what kind of behavior is frowned upon. That way the people we met with experienced that we were respecting their way of life. And the interaction was so much better. When touring around the sites he exhibited ample knowledge about the locations and history. On the transfer part Lwafika T&T has a network of trusted drivers. Our trip from an to the Airport and other venues were always on time and high quality
