Welcome to an unforgettable experience! Join me and my mother for a journey into the heart of Moroccan cuisine and culture. We'll teach you how to make the perfect Moroccan mint tea, a staple of our country, and guide you through the steps of preparing delicious Moroccan dishes like Tajine , Zaalouk , Taktouka , Couscous... by using traditional, generational techniques with your hands-on approach.

But it's not just about the food. During our time together, we'll exchange cultural insights and stories about Morocco, and you'll have the opportunity to try on traditional Moroccan garments like the famous Caftan, Takchita..
You will handle all the steps, and then we'll enjoy the meal in a warm, hospitable and friendly atmosphere.

What Can You Expect?

Vegan and Vegetarian are welcome.
Join us (mum and daughter) in our kitchen for a genuine Moroccan culinary experience in a family-friendly setting. Upon arrival, enjoy traditional mint tea with our homemade cookies and select from a menu featuring classic Moroccan dishes. Together, we'll prepare the meal, offering a chance to learn techniques and recipes for recreating the flavors at home. Plus, I'll provide authentic Moroccan clothing for a complete immersion in our culture, allowing you to explore Moroccan fashion and create memorable photos.

    My afternoon with Wisal was one of the highlights of my trip! You can expect a well-curated, very personal experience that gives actual insight into life in Casablanca! The food was SO generous and delicious and I will remember it forever!

    A must-do experience for foodies and gourmands! The lovely Wissal is an amazing host and teacher. I learned to make a traditional Moroccan meal, and then break the Ramadan fast with Wissal and her family. Definitely an experience I will never forget, make sure to go with an appetite!

    This is more than just a cooking class, it is a taste of everyday life in Casablanca. The cooking was fun and tasty, our conversation was engaging, and being welcomed into Wissal's home by her and her family was heart warming. Wissal is an excellent host, and she cheerfully accommodated my booking with very short notice. As a solo female traveller I felt happy and safe in Wissal's home.

    We had a great final day in Morocco, having lunch and conversation with a wonderful young entrepreneurial woman and her mum, who offers cooking classes, in their apartment in Casablanca. We really enjoyed meeting Wissal who impressed us with her can do attitude, her appreciation of Moroccan food, her sharing of how to prepare food that her family eats, and chatting about what her life is like in the suburbs. It was great. Her instructions were clear, the food was delicious. And it was fun to dress up! If you want a real Moroccan experience, through the lens of a local (rather than a tour guide), book for this experience. You will love it.
