What a fantastic day out we had at Etna. We went up the chairlift and then hiked to one of the craters….. fantastic day. If you are lucky enough to have Simone as your guide he makes your day one to remember for all of your life …… an absolute star 🌟 . Full of enthusiasm, facts, fun and interesting conversations. Fabulous day. Moreno was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring the needs of the whole group were met. Nothing was too much trouble. Wine and food tasting was delicious and plentiful. Perfect balance of sights, adventure, food, drink and fun! Thank you

This was an AMAZING tour. Simone was a great guide, with super positive energy and very informative all the time. Everything was well organised, on time and fun! When you get to Etna you have 3 choices (and everyone in the group can pick whatever they like more): go up with cable car (70 euro), go up with electric bike (80 euro) or go around on ATVs (130 euro per ATV, up to 2 people per vehicle). All options are with a guide. I went with the e-bike and it was super fun. You need to be in moderate shape though, it's not the easiest. No matter the option, the views are breathtaking. Then after Etna you get to a local winery for food and wine tasting and oh my, how good it is! Totally worth it over the "regular" Etna tour.

We had a wonderful experience on the Mt Etna tour. Our guide, Simone, was knowledgeable, personable, and easy to talk with for the entire day. He made it easy to get to know the other guests on the tour, and by the end, it felt like we had made several new friends. My wife and I choose to rent the electric assist bikes to bike to the top of Etna. It was a great experience, but we are both in very good shape, and still found it challenging at times, in case that's helpful. That said, I would do it again in a heartbeat. You can also choose to simply stay at the arrival area and walk around (there are several craters there), or ride the cableway to the top. The cableway or bikes were both around $80 euros additional per person. The wine tasting and provided food are extensive, you will leave full. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Catania. Well worth it!
