Overview

An excursion created for those who love nature and good food. We will take you to visit the most beautiful places of our volcano, passing from lava flows and extinct craters to breathtaking views on vine terraces admiring the diversity of natural beauty. Exploration of a typical lava flow cave with helmet and torch.
Guided tour in a typical Etna winery. We will visit one of the best wineries located on the Etna side.
After a visit to the cellar we will have the opportunity to taste some native wines paired with typical local products.

    Picked up by Dani - who made the effort to find us as the street our hotel was on was closed. It ended up being only me and my partner kn the tour - so I appreciated it going ahead! Dani was our private guide who drove to Mount Etna and accompanied us up the Volcano. Note that to go up to 3000m is extra (75 euros each). Dani was great as he knew a lot about the area and volcano and was happy to take pictures for us. We then visited the Enoteca Dell Etna winery which was fabulous - we had the most fabulous host (can’t remember her name!) but she did a fab job at introducing delicious wines and accompanying foods! Warning - you’re given 4 courses of amazing food! we were not expecting such generosity, so make sure you’re hungry! Overall was a great day and a must if you’re in Catania.

    Danilo was an excellent guide! We had a private tour and he made the experience memorable. We had my 2 year old nephew with us who got carsick and Danilo was so patient even though it made our day run a little longer. Since some of our group elected not to go up to 3000m, he stayed back with them and showed them around the other craters. The 3000m (south side) experience was 79€ extra (charged by the folks on Etna, not the tour company) for 1.5 hours but the views and terrain up there are pretty cool. We went in Sept and it was pretty chilly and windy up at the top. After this, we went to a beautiful winery with a tasting of 4 wines and a 3 course lunch. This place was packed and we got seated right away. Overall an amazing day with good food, wine and views and all taken care of from pick up to drop off. Would highly recommend this tour!

    Alex was an exceptional guide. His knowledge of the volcano really made the tour. We had a cloudy/rainy day but we’re still able to see a few craters and appreciate Mt Etna. The wine tasting was fantastic. We even ordered some wine to be shipped to the US!

    The hike was pretty cool and Dan was a great guide A little disappointed about the price to go further up on the gondola Wine tasting was good - the food was better ! Well worth the time
