Ana was really good.We got to try typical Cadiz dishes in tapas bars popular with the locals.Ana explained the food and talked to us about it.She was very good company for the evening. It was a very enjoyable evening. Although it was tapas, there was plenty to eat and drink so we had enough without being over full.No need to eat before or after the tour as you get the equivalent of a full meal and plenty of local wine.

This turned out to be a private tour for just my wife and me, which means a lot of folks missed out on a good thing. Our guide was knowledgeable about all things Cadiz. She took us to two out of the way tapas restaurants we would never have found on our own. The food was delicious, different, and new to us. Our guide told us about the food how it was prepared. The wine was great. I would go again and recommend the tour highly.

We truly enjoyed the tapas and wine tour in Cadiz. Our guide, Mateo, was very knowledgeable about the food culture and the history of Cadiz. He took us to two of the top restaurants in Cadiz as well as to the Mercado. The tapas were excellent and the semi dulce fantastic.

Based on the reviews and the cost, I expected more. We were contacted to start 30 minutes early at the guide's request. No problem, but then she showed up 10 minutes late. The tapas at our first stop was interesting, but obviously inexpensive because one of the dishes was just a special potato salad. The single crispy chickpea and shrimp item was tasty and different. They served us a local sparkling wine and said they don't make cava in the area. It was ok. We returned to the same restaurant for dinner and asked for that same wine. We were told "oh, you don't want that" and we had a bottle of cava. The price of the sparkling wine was less than 5€ for a whole bottle! And the crispy chickpea item was only 2,4€ on the menu. The guide knew we live in Spain, but she still gave us the lecture that you would give to foreigners.
