This excursion allows you to follow the path of the tea pickers in the heart of one of the oldest tea plantations in Mauritius. On this private tour of the southern part of the island, you will discover the tea factory at Bois Cherie Tea Plantation. While enjoying a great panoramic view, you may taste the different flavors of tea they offer.

Rhumerie de St. Aubin Distillery will teach you all you need to know about rum making. Once you have mastered recognizing the different varieties of rum, it is time to proceed to the cocktail workshop, where the bartenders. After that, we will drive you to Rhumerie St. Aubin. The chef will demonstrate how to make a signature cocktail in a charming colonial house. And the best part of it is the boozy vibes. You will taste the different kinds of rum the distillery manufactures.

Taking a break from the trip, we will take you to Gris Gris beach for fresh air and a salty breeze to re-energize yourself.

We will continue our journey to Ganga Talao, Mauritius's sacred Hindu site. Several colorful temples and idols of gods and goddesses surround it.

Stop At: Alexandra Falls, Central Plateau, Black River Gorges, Union Park, Mauritius
Next will be the Black River Gorges National Park. Firstly, the Alexandra Falls. From Alexandra Falls, you can admire the cloud forest of Mt. Cocotte (771m) and the view down to the coast.

Then we will head to Gorges Viewpoint for the stunning view of this ancient primeval forest.

Stop At: Chamarel, Chamarel
After you have toured the forest on foot and seen its rare plants and unique birds with your naked eye, we will continue to the authentic village of Chamarel to savor a delicious Mauritian lunch at a local restaurant.
Then you will head up to the Chamarel Viewpoint, where you can admire the picturesque view of the coastal line.

Next will be Maconde Viewpoint, set on a curved portion of the coastal road at the peak of a small rocky cliff where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.
