Itinerary
Guest will have free entrance to the oldest public building in South Carolina as part of the Scavenger Hunt to start the experience! From there guests will find as part of the tour several other historic locations and items to complete the "escape." This self-guided experience covers about a mile and a half of the most historic district in Charleston.
This pirate themed scavenger hunt is centered around the very real Pirate Siege of Charles Town in 1718. As such you will need to find your way out of the city following the instructions on the packet provided. Finish the experience in the recommend time and you will have escaped a terrible fate as a pirate. Also find hidden alleys and objects along the way!
Historical accuracy was paramount in the sites designated as part of the experience and packet instructions and information has been vetted by two local historians and the director of the Powder Magazine. As such the experience is great for children but due to the length and historic basis it is best received by those 10+ years old!
