all those efforts are finally paid off with the growth of grape and the exciting time of wine making. Mechanization was still waiting to happen, harvest was carried out by whole families, pressing grapes with their very feet inside huge wooden vats.
This tour is highly recommended for those who want to try a unique experience, while capturing the real essence of living as Tuscan families from the countryside.
A visit to a winery with wine tasting and typical local lunch is included; depending on the season guests can pick
grapes or simply press grapes previously provided by our company. Discover these amazing ancient traditions and get a genuine product. The experience includes also a free visit to Castellina in Chianti, one of the iconic villages part of the Chianti Classico area, walking around an old hamlet rich in history, culture and local craft
artisan shops.

We will take you to an amazing family farm and here the family will show you how to harvest and stomp on grapes.. then taste wine and enjoy a great meal.

Experience the same authentic atmosphere stomping grapes in Tuscany Countryside!

In this authentic family farm, Silvia (the owner) will prepare for you an exquisite lunch while your guide will show you the farm. You will learn the history of the cellar that date back to the 1825 and how they make wine, extra virgin olive oil and honey. During lunch you will taste 4 wines, grappa and their amazing production of extra virgin olive oil all pared with home made pasta, bruschettas, cold cuts and last but not least home made biscotti.

    Tommaso was a wonderful guide with a deep understanding of the region and the winery. The winery itself was a small, authentic family run business with the owners and dog on site; we were truly welcome guests in their home. The wine was delicious as was the homemade lunch. The grape stomping made for lots of laughs but the true joy was in the full experience. I highly recommend this tour with Tommaso.

    Francesco was a fantastic guide. He gave us lots of Information on the way and showed us around the vineyard. Fantastic lunch with great wine. Unfortunately it started to rain, but we still managed to enjoy the grape stomping which was really fun.

    This experience exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide was excellent, she picked us up and first brought us to Monteriggioni, which was a cool walled medieval town. We then arrived to the winery where we met the family that owns the winery and learned about the history of the winery. We then stomped grapes, which was so much fun! They they even took photos and videos of us stomping! Afterwards, we had lunch and tried many wines! This was some of the best food we had on our trip, as it was all freshly made. We still crave the cheese and boar ragu pasta! Our tour guide was super personable and knowledgeable, we can’t express enough how awesome she was! We felt so special and lucky to visit this family owned vineyard. We would recommend this once in a lifetime experience to anyone looking for a quiet, unique and intimate experience.

    Everything about this experience was fantastic! The food, the wine, the tour, the views!! We couldn't have asked for a better way to start our Italian adventure. And my mom is a big I Love Lucy fan, and this was a dream come true for her hahahah!
