Your tour will begin in the old city center of Chisinau where you’ll meet your guide and pick up your bike. With your group, you’ll cycle along the narrow streets to spot the city’s top attractions, with plenty of chances for photos. While the city was founded in 1420, much of Chişinău was flatten in WWII. The Soviet conquerors reshaped it into what you see today: Stalinist architecture blended with gloriously modernism from the later Soviet period and a bit of pre-war monuments. You will discover beautiful churches, museums, parks and get familiar with the local history, culture and everyday life. Your private guide will provide commentary and answer questions as you pass the City Hall, Metropolitan Cathedral, Triumphal Arch, National Art Museum, the iconic statues of Stephan the Great and other sites like Water Tower and the Parliament Building.
