Day 1:
Check in to your hotel in the early afternoon, and then enjoy free time to get yourself acquainted with Cordoba! Perhaps take a stroll down Calleja de las Flores, a sun-dappled alleyway speckled with colorful flowers, and pose for photos against the backdrop of Cordoba Mezquita – the city’s famous cathedral-mosque.
Also famous for its food scene, Cordoba is packed with atmospheric tapas bars and tiny bodgeas (wine bars) that serve up tantalizing Andalucian treats. Ask your hotel to recommend an eatery or simply amble at leisure, allowing your instincts to guide you. Food, drinks and activities are at your own expense.

Day 2: Cordoba

After breakfast in your hotel, walk into town to meet your guide and start your 3.5-hour walking tour outside Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, the city’s fortified medieval palace. Built in the 14th century. Learn all about it while walking around inside, and then wander across town to visit the city’s star attraction: the Mezquita.
The eye-catching cathedral-mosque boasts a history that dates back to the eighth century, serving stints as both a Christian church and a mosque. Other highlights of your walking tour include Cordoba’s Jewish quarter (Judería).
After finishing your walking tour in the center of town time at leisure for lunch. In the afternoon use your entrance ticket to visit the Baños Arabes spa at a time that suits you best, and spend 1.5 hours inside at leisure. Sip on complimentary mint tea, bask in the thermal plunge pools or steam room, and enjoy a 15-minute massage. Just remember your bathing suit!
