Itinerary

Where the whitewater and scenery collide to make an ultimate rafting experience just outside Denali, Alaska. Enjoy 11 miles of rapids on the Nenana River. This trip is more adventurous, but yet for everyone to enjoy. With the option to join the team as a paddle rafter or play it cool & be an Oar Boat Rider.

Now, let's go run the waves of razorback, royal flush and coffee grinder!

Prepare for Your Trip.

- Warm socks could be a wool pair of socks or an extra thick pair of winter socks

High-water / Wind Policy (Canyon Wave Only)
If New Wave cancels a Canyon Wave trip due to high water, wind or other safety reasons you will automatically be rebooked to the Wilderness Wave at the same time slot. If you have booked through a third party call us before your trip, for access to waivers, confirm pick up, and get any important trip updates.

• Professional River Guide, Drysuit, PFD, helmet, paddle (if needed), river shoes, transport to & from the river, safe location to store your personal belongings

• Warm Non-cotton base layers- polyester/wool, long johns, to wear underneath drysuit, extra socks

• Not recommended for travelers with back problems
• No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
• Not recommended for pregnant travelers
• Wheelchair accessible
• Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
• No infants
• This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
• This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
• This tour/activity will have a maximum of 45 travelers
• Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 1 day of travel. In this case confirmation will be received as soon as possible, subject to availability

Traveler pickup is offered
We pick up anywhere from 5 - 30 minutes before our trip depending on the location of the hotel. Customers can be picked up at the provided list of hotels. Please wait in the front lobby of the hotel with your booking information or your voucher.
