Petra, the Lost Nabatean capital, is an impressive archaeological site dating back approximately 2,300 years, where the most remarkable structures were carved out of the red-hued rock cliffs.

Traverse through the Siq, a breathtaking smooth gorge that meanders all the way to the iconic Petra Treasury adorned with intricate decorations. Day 2: Petra Archeological park

After a night in a great hotel right next to the archeological park, you'll enjoy breakfast, and have the entire day to explore Petra to your heart's desire. The main attraction is the Petra Monastery, also known as Al Dayr, which is situated on a nearby hill and offers a spectacular view en route.

Next, witness the enchanting Petra Great Temple with its grand columns and intricate decorations, visit the ancient Byzantine Church, explore Qasr Al Bint Temple - rumored to be a palace constructed for the daughter of a biblical Pharaoh, and discover the enigmatic Urn Tomb.

  • Be prepared to pay $125 in cash (USD/EU/NIS) directly to the Jordanian border authorities, for visa issuing and border fees. Have the exact amount ready to avoid any inconvenience. Travelers who possess a valid visa stamp or do not require a visa will pay $65.
  • Wear warm clothing in winter, a hat in summer and comfortable walking shoes.
  • This tour will have a late Lunch on the first day, so we recommend that you have breakfast before departure.
  • The Petra By Night activity is available only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 20:30.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

Terrible. No me pasaron a buscar el día de la excursión debió a "problemas del servidor" y "falta de información" cambiaron la historia varias veces y nadie me pudo dar una explicación satisfactoria. Me lo cambiaron de dia. Luego en Petra nos intentaron engañar con el precio del traslado a Petra, nos ofrecieron llevarnos a la parte trasera de Petra por 2 dj y al llegar nos quisieron cobrar 20 dj por persona. Al explicarle al encargado de la agencia se puso del lado del conductor y cito un montón de datos que tras buscarlos en Google resultaron ser mentira. Al comunicarme con la agencia para solicitar un reembolso parcial no supieron darme solución y solo les importo echarles la culpa unos a otros, como diciendo que era problema de la página , luego del agente que vendía el paquete etc. Además dijeron que no podían hacer nada con el conductor porque era de por fuera de la agencia lo que también es mentira porque era el conductor que se nos había designado para llevar y traernos de Petra.
