I had a wonderful time painting with Abdelaziz. He's an incredibly talented artist and equally good teacher. Painting on the beach was a very powerful experience, as he taught me how to tap into my artistic side in order to process my experience in Morocco and going to Essaouira, where my grandmother is from. He packaged my canvas painting and I took it home with me. I can't wait to visit Abdelaziz again this summer!
