I was unable to get ahold of the local cab company, and wound up being very late. Although it was too late to bike to the castle, the hosts were very kind to provide me with a ticket and a ride to the castle. Very kind and understanding, and I was incredibly grateful for their willingness to go above and beyond.

We book a full day bike rental to explore Fussen, Neuschwanstein Castle, and the surrounding area. The bikes were available at a local hostel where the staff was friendly. Our visit was fantastic, but the bikes were not as pictured. The ad shows a nice flat bar hybrid. The reality is an old cruiser that has seen better days. We bike about 35 kilometers and the bikes definitely made it a challenge. If you are only riding to the castle and around Fussen they are fine and very inexpensive, but if you are going to ride further, look elsewhere.

Great way to tour the local area!! Staff was friendly and helpful. Bikes were in great shape. Great time.
