    We had a fantastic time in Genova with our cooking host Anna. We made 5 dishes and each was amazing. She welcomed us into her home and after a few minutes we felt like old friends. Anna is not a professional cook, as she let us know more than once. She is a regular person who showed us how to make regular, yet oh so tasty, Italian appetizers. This was exactly what we were looking for and we couldn’t be more happy with our experience! Thanks so much for welcoming us into your home and sharing your knowledge with us! Steve and Christine

    This was a very disappointing excursion. The description suggests that you are going to be taught how to prepare five different items and taught how to pair with a refreshing glass. What we experienced was how to make a zucchini omelet (chopped zucchini with eggs), mashed potatoes mixed with mashed green beans (Polpettone Fagiolini), Pesto (4-ingredients), and Salsa. The Focaccia was already made. Then we sat down with a bottle of Prosecco. There was no pairing. When we went to Le Rune, we had a bottle of wine, bread, two appetizers, two entrees, and dessert for $96.00. We could have gone to Le Rune twice for less than this excursion.
