Join us for our Swim with Whales Tour located near the Gold Coast, Coolangatta and Tweed heads area. Look beneath the surface into the world of the majestic Humpback Whale. Enjoy an unforgettable eye-to-eye experience with these gentle giants right here on the Gold Coast.

To swim with whales is undoubtedly a remarkable, intimate experience you won’t soon forget. Cooly Eco Adventures is the first operator on the Gold Coast to offer swimming with whales and it is our prime objective to give you that experience in a safe and environmentally conscious way.

We do everything we can to maximise your chance of swimming with whales but what you must understand is; we don’t swim with whales, the whales swim with us. While we guarantee whale sightings, we cannot guarantee your swim with them; the time they spend with us or the proximity they will come.

    Stunning experience. So peaceful under the water with many species of colourful fish to see, the movements of the underwater sea grass and the motions of the surf. The boat favourite was definitely the graceful turtles. Amazing, beautiful turtles in their natural habitat. Highly recommend the Cooly Eco team, Cass and Joel looked after all our needs and ensured everyone was comfortable in the water. We loved hearing the turtle stories, and importantly ways to keep marine life safe and our oceans thriving.

    I had a fantastic experience on this whale-watching trip! We saw many whales, although we couldn't swim with them as they stayed a bit far from the boat. The sea was quite rough, causing some seasickness, but the friendly team assisted us throughout. The captain shared insightful knowledge about the whales. I'd love to do it again on a day when the whales are closer and the ocean is calmer!

    Had a great day with Joel and Julia today on the water. We booked a whale swim. We did get a brief swim which I wish had been longer but at the end of the day you need to keep in mind that the whales are wild and it's up to them if they feel like playing ball. We had plenty above water encounters with the whales and the Cooly team did everything in their power to make it a great experience

    This was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had in my life, coming face to face with majestic whales underwater was absolutely amazing. The tour was professional, informative and respectful to the whales, letting them come to us. Would highly recommend and would definitely do it again! 11/10
