Welcome by our team at Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport and transfer to your hotel by private car. Your Private guide will be at the hotel at 10:00 in the morning.

Our first visit point is Uchisar Castle, We will visit the magnificent view and photo point of Uçhisar Castle, where you will get information about the rich history and unique rock formations of Cappadocia.

Goreme Open Museum is known as one of the first monasteries in the history of Christianity. This rock-cut settlement, where education was given for the spread of Christianity, is home to magnificent frescoed churches and rock habitats. It has been on the UNESCO World History list since 1985.

Stop At: Avanos, Avanos, Cappadocia
Avanos is one of the oldest settlements of Cappadocia. The pottery art, which is known to have started in the Hittite period, continues today and there are many workshops and masters. After the visit, a short walk by the Kizilirmak ( Red River ) and then lunch.

It is a spot where you can take great photos with animal figured rock formations. Known as the valley of imagination.

Goreme is a village located in the center of Cappadocia. Recently, it has become a center of attraction with its hotels carved into the rock. Göreme panorama offers views of the charming village of Göreme.

Day 2: Ihlara Valley & Underground City Tour - Dropp-Off To Airport

You will meet your tour guide for the day tour at the 09.50am in hotel And then your Private Cappadocia Tour will begin.

We will move to Kaymaklı Underground City, which is our first visit point.
It was opened to visitors in 1964. The first floor of the city, which consists of 8 floors in total, was built during the Hittites Period. During the Roman and Byzantine periods, it was transformed into an underground city by enlarging other areas by carving. Today, 4 floors are illuminated and opened to visitors.
This underground city carved into tuff rocks has all the necessary shelter conditions for a mass to live temporarily. There are rooms and halls connected to each other by narrow corridors, wine tanks, water cellars, kitchen and food stores, ventilation shafts, water wells, a church and large bolt stones that close the door from the inside to prevent any danger from the outside.

We will drive further south to the magnificent verdant Ihlara Valley. We will walk alongside the Melendiz River for about 1 hour which winds its way through the Ihlara gorge, stopping for lunch in a restaurant on the river in the village of Belisirma.

After lunch, we continue to the Selime Monastery, the largest rock-cut monastery in Cappadocia with a large cave cathedral and breathtaking views over the area.
One day in 1963, a farmer in the village of Şahinefendi noticed something that obviously was not part of the natural landscape and started clearing away the dirt. He uncovered a panel of mosaics, a finding he knew to be significant. He reported his discovery to the local museum, but was ignored. Only in 2002, after decades of attempts to engage the authorities, the local museum finally took action and started excavations which are still going on.
A corrugated-iron roof protects the 400-square-metre meeting hall, the main attraction of which is the beautiful mosaic flooring. Later a chapel had been built on top of some of the finer mosaics inside the meeting hall with materials that were supplied from the main hall.

On our way back to Goreme we stop at the spectacular vista point overlooking Pigeon Valley.

After the tour, you will be separated from your guide and transfer to the airport.
'' If your flight is the next day , you will be dropped off at your hotel . And in this case, you will be picked up from the hotel about 3 hours before your flight and left with a private minivan to the airport.
