On the day, everything ran smoothly. Our tickets were accepted at the entrance points without any problems. We had an amazing visit to the Alhambra. My only concern was that I had to chase up La Vacanza Travel to have the tickets sent to me by email. For peace of mind, I would have preferred the tickets to be sent to me longer in advance. If I had received them before leaving home I would have printed them off. I was worried that I would not have Internet connection when on holiday.

General admission to the Alhambra complex. The ticket begins at 0830 at the complex gate. Realize this is only when the complex opens, you can arrive later in the day if you want. Does not include the Nasrid Palace (separate ticket). You will need to purchase that separately. Also, you need to bring a cell phone with access to the internet (as well as your own headphones) to listen to the audio guides.

Lived the Alhambra! However I was not happy with Viatour. Purchased tickets for noon. Received an email the week before with the time 15:30. ( from subcontractors ) We had already made plans. If 1200 wasn’t available I should have bee informed!!

They provided what they said they would but it is worth noting they didn’t provide any audio guide just an audio file to download to your phone. The tickets were only delivered the night before the date of visit and we were very nervous if they would come through. They did come through. The main attraction was the Alhambra and this was like paying scalpers rates for entry tickets which were sold out.

It was a pity I couldn’t enter with my dog but I understood it. Visiting the beautiful garden and hearing the sound of the water was a special experience. The views were fantastic!
