The cruise is excellent providing a spectacular view of the Harbour and the surroundig area, the traditional food was tasty that I really enjoyed it. The one and a half hour trip passed so exciting that I surely recommend it. The boat has two decks, plenty available places to sit and enjoy the whole route.
Great cruise, we were very few people so this was even better! Nice view of the Harbour, nice Dim Sum, great memories
It was a really lovely trip as the staff was very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and since we went off season, we had it nearly for ourselves.
This trip is although considered as a "tourist" trip - it is by far better than what it sounds like. The boat takes 2 hours going from Central Pier 9 to Aberdeen (old fishing village) and back. The Dim Sum that is served is anything touristic - it is very very good Dim Sum by all standards - so no worry about the "tourist cheat" trap that one often encounters. Here you are really treated very well and well fed "! I highly recommend the tour - it is super relaxing and a real fun drive !
Aqua Luna, one of the iconic cruises of Hong Kong, named after the great former pirate "Cheung Po" from the 1800s, is a highly-recommended activity if you happen to be in Hong Kong. The cruise itself takes around 90 minutes, a round trip from Tsim Sha Tsui Pier to Junk Bay. Our afternoon-tea cruise was from 330pm to 5pm, and there is another round of sunset cruise which starts from 530pm. With the soothing weather in November, the cruise itself was rather comfortable. The afternoon tea set is produced by the well-known Dimsum Library; the savory bites and dimsum are up to the standard and even served warm with an open air and windy conditions on the cruise. However, the sweet dessert is not as delicious as the dimsum; well, I can understand that sweet dessert isn't a strong side for Dimsum Library. Would prefer to have all Dimsum on board if possible. Due to the bumpy ride and table setting restrictions, it's a pity we can't have classy New Bone China plates and silverware setup for the afternoon tea; you can't order your usual English tea or coffee (Hot tea is available in a thermal mug to avoid spillage). Enjoy the cruise and the food much, looking forward to more afternoon tea options and experiences offered. #DimsumLibrary #AquaLuna #afternoontea #victoriaharbour #hongkong #pirateship
