Paddle out deep into the emerald-green valley of the Anbo river!
The Anbo river is the longest river on this island, although the access by kayaking is limited due to its steepness.
So half-day tour is enough for this activity here.
Kayaks we provide are relatively stable that much worry is not needed.
Let's paddle out deep into the emerald-green valley!
If you like, dive into the crystal clear water (in summertime).

We had *such* a good time with Junichi. The morning started with some light kayaking on the beautiful Anbo River with a stop for some tea before hiking in the cedar forests. Junichi speaks perfect English and is an excellent tour guide who taught us about the local plants and animals in Yakushima. Highly, highly recommend this, it was one of our favorite parts of our entire trip to Japan.

This day tour of Yakushima was a highlight of two weeks in Japan. I’d especially wanted to see the moss forest in Shiratani - only to arrive in Yakushima just ahead of a typhoon that forced the closing of most of the trail. Jun came up with two alternative options and the day couldn’t have been better. If anything, the rain engorged rivers and waterfalls were all the more beautiful, and we had the park almost entirely to ourselves. Jun is experienced, incredibly knowledgeable and attentive - as well as a genuinely great guy to hang out with. Highly recommend!

Due to heavy rain on previous day, we did not get to do half day kayaking, but we did a half day hiking and half day scenic tour. We ( a family with a teen and a young child) truly enjoyed ourselves. The hike was amazing and all the sceneries were magical. Jun san was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. His service is top notch. We will come back again. 😊👍👍👍👍👍👍
