Taishi was our guide and was terrific. Great tour involving three different bars/restaurants and a variety of food and drinks. Highly recommended. One of the best things you can do in Kyoto!
Excellent food tour - highly recommend. There were only four of us on this tour which was great. Our guide, Chikako was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all things Japan and Japanese food. She was happy to share information and stories about her life in Japan. On this tour we tasted so many interesting and delicious things. Chikako was great at selecting menu items that weren't thing we would think to try but were absolutely delicious.
Everyone has to take a foodie tour and find amazing places to visit and learn about places to visit in the city. Our tour guide was fantastic and made my visit better because she arranged for none fish items so I could eat.
Delightful experience. Super way to start our Kyoto experience. Our leader Mana was intelligent, articulate, knowledgeable, fun and friendly. Would do every night if offered!!!!! Food was amazing!! Many delights! Food for vegetarians or those more adventurous! Saki tasting and other lovely drinks.
Mana was a fantastic guide to a fabulous food tour. I highly recommend anyone wanting to learn about Japanese culture, food and drink take this tour. What a fun evening!
