The tour is made mostly by bus, with plenty of free time and includes a public boat trip on the Lake.

This trip will circumnavigate all the Lake Garda by bus and tour guide, doing special stops in the most important village around it. A boat trip of 50 minutes is included on Monday and Friday trip. Let's check the different programs here below.

Stop At: Lazise, Lazise, Province of Verona, Veneto

If booked the Monday trip: Visit of Lazise with it's castle and learn the history of the first municipality in Italy!!

Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Sirmione, Sirmione, Province of Brescia, Lombardy

If booked Monday or Friday trip: Visit of Sirmione. This special village on the south of the Lake is known for its sulphurous water and still full of natural Thermal site. The castle is beautiful as well such as the center and characteristic shops. On Friday the visit take 1hour instead of 2hours.

Stop At: Salo, Salo, Province of Brescia, Lombardy

If booked the Monday trip:
Visit of Salò.. These village on the Lake looks very modern and well organized. High level shops street, ice-creamery, restaurant and souvenir are everywhere. One of the most long walking coast is located on Salò.. Let's try

Stop At: Limone sul Garda, Limone sul Garda, Province of Brescia, Lombardy

If booked the Friday trip: one of our stop is Limone sul Garda. Always with tour guide we gonna see this small but beauty village considered one of the most typical and particular on North side of the Lake. Learn about the history and enjoy a walk on the lake coast

Stop At: Malcesine, Malcesine, Province of Verona, Veneto

If booked the Friday trip: Visit of Malcesine.
Considered one of the most suggestive and tipycal village around lake Garda, it was one of the destinations of the trip to Italy on 1786 of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The castle overhanging the water is its symbol!

A good way of seeing other places aroud the lake altough sometimes felt you travelled more than you saw Garda was nice quaint ally ways with shops for all A lovely long promanarde full of restraunts and cafes then a ferry ride of 11/2 hours to Sirmione a very nice boat ride to capture the Peninsula of Sirmione interesting and historic information and seeing the thermal waters Busy in Sirmione could have spent longer ther didnt get to see much of the place due to doing the boat trip Wonderfull icecream places Very nice scenary on further coach journay and very knowledgeable guide Analeasea Stopped off in Salo on return journy looked a nice place but after 17:00 everything was closed up

The full day Tour of the Lake was organised by our Tour Rep, Lynsey. We'll worth it. Bus to Garda and Ferry to many other towns including Sirimone and Salo. Fantastic day out.

I liked the tour and the guide, but I don't like that English and German groups are combined in the same bus, and the guide had to repead everuthing twice on 2 languages. When I am buying English tour, I expect it to be in English - not mixed with some other languages. I am sure the German speaking guys felt the same way. They paid for German language tour and had to sit and listen something else they didn't understand. If I knew this upfront, I wouldn't buy this tour.

We had a good guide and the visit covered all around Lake Garda. It is a very long day so would recommend taking plenty of water especially as it was a very hot day, and be prepared to do a lot of walking. Suited us but may not suit everyone. We enjoyed the trip.

The Tour ended up being a very full day of circumnavigation of Lake Garda including a ferry ride to Riva and a boat excursion around the tip of Sirmione (Extra $10 Euro) A great trip around an amazing historical and geographically stunning Lake Garda. Frederick was a great tour guide and Sebastion, a great driver especially in those Mussolini Tunnels on the Lombardy side of the lake. Full of history & beauty. Perhaps a little too long on a very hot day but still agreat experience.
