Join us on an exploration of the scenic fjords and islands. Kayaking definitely offers you the ability to be closer to nature than a lot of other activities do. The half day Kayak Adventure is about 3-3,5 hours long and departs daily at 10:00 or at 14:00. Group size can vary from 2-10 people. Includes: snacks and hot drinks

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

We meet at Eggum, on the beach where you will get to know your highly experienced guide and the rest of your group. We will go over kayak safety, route and conditions and you will get to know your kayak.

We will be paddling North-East and all around the beautiful small islands. We provide delicious snacks and hot drinks for you to maintain energy while we paddle. While you are resting, watching the birds or sea life and taking in the views from your kayak your guide will tell you stories about the life and nature of Lofoten.

For this trip, it’s not necessary to have any previous experience. 99% of our guests never kayaked before.

This is a short but fun filled experience for everybody!

I don’t think this trip is well suited for beginners. Myself and my friend had no kayaking experience which is why we booked this tour as it was described as ‘perfect for beginners’. We didn’t get much of a briefing on how to steer the kayak, how best to use the oars, techniques etc. The tour involved kayaking across a windy bay to get to the islands which is hard work and difficult if you’re not used to sea kayaking. The tour takes you round a few sheltered islands that weren’t very pretty or interesting to look at and we didn’t see any wildlife at all. Then on the way back we had to cross the bay again and unfortunately the wind had picked up and made it more difficult. It wasn’t a very fun experience in all honesty, very tiring and not a lot of breaks to rest. The guide was lovely and friendly and a very experienced guide. However he didn’t seem to understand how difficult it was for true beginners to make the bay crossing and I feel like he got a little frustrated with us at times as he had to keep waiting for us to catch up. Lofoten is such a beautiful place, I’m sure there are visually better areas to kayak in that are more sheltered.

I don't like organised trips in general and I'm usually kayaking on my own, but in Norway it's not really possible. Nevertheless, I was surprised how much I enjoyed this trip. The staff was fantastic, with very personal approach (stories, guiding tips etc...).They gave us loads of time and we finished 20 minutes later than planned (plus it was cheaper and longer than those available in Reine, anyways). Gorgeous place to kayak, loads of fun, tea/coffee break in the most beautiful spot and additionaly we've got really nice group pictures afterwards. 100% recommended!

We had a great time with Mariano, we learned a lot about the local area and kayaking in the sea. It was really fun. A great introduction if you are interested or ever thought about getting NPF card. Don't get discourged by weather, you will warm up quickly. 10/10 highly recommended 😄

We had an awesome summer kayaking trip with our guide, Sebastian. The sights were epic and the clear waters of Lofoten were breathtaking. Sebastian made sure we had all we needed and showed us the ropes. He also shared cool facts about the place. Loved the coffee break on the island, too! This is a must-try for anyone looking for a fun and chill adventure. Big thumbs up to Sebastian and his team for a day we won't forget. Top-notch experience, highly recommended!
