We really enjoyed driving around seeing the architecture and famous places. Sorry we did not go to Mel’s diner.

The guide was very knowledgeable. However, we did not visit sites on the itinerary as per the website. Did not visit Observatory, Santa Monica pier, Rodeo Drive. Spent full day of driving around without really looking and stopping at highlights. Very disappointed and so were other passengers. Started 45 minutes late as had to wait for passengers arriving late. Very disorganized in the morning, sorting out passengers and buses.

Alberto was our driver/guide. He was awesome!! Very knowledgeable of the area and its history. Alberto has a great personality, he was funny and made us laugh. He picked us up promptly after we got off a Carnival Cruise at Long Beach terminal. He loaded our luggage and dropped us off at LAX after our tour. He drove a high rise van that was comfortable. I was a little skeptical in the beginning but I was pleasantly surprised with the tour. On the way to our scheduled sights he told us the history of the areas we were driving through. Some of the tour was ride by but we did get out at a few places. He carried us to lunch at Mel’s Drive In. The food was a little expensive but it was very delicious. I would highly recommend booking the City of Los Angeles from Long Beach. We visited a lot of places, saw a lot of sights and had great food. I only wish we could have spent more time at the places we visited but I also know it was a day paced full. You can only do so much in 8 hours. Thanks La Vacanza Travel/Sun Seeker Tours and Alberto for a great adventure!!

We saw LA in one day! Alberto was great, very knowledgeable about everything. Really thought an 8 hour tour would get boring but Alberto would not let that happen. We saw everything we wanted to see and learned alot about " behind the scenes" stuff. Would defiantly recommend this !

Cruise guide was very knowledgeable of the area, kept to the schedule while still allowing enough time to explore. His jokes were also funny. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
