We had a wonderful time on our 3-day trip to Georgia organized by “ONE WAY tour” based in Yerevan, Armenia. We enjoyed the beautiful historical sights of Tbilisi, Sighnaghi and Mtskheti, the delicious food and the sunny weather , the company of our knowledgeable guide Manoush, the experienced driver Norik and all the friendly people in the group. We would definitely recommend this trip to all our friends.

Our 3 days tour of the Imperial Cities was well planned. Our driver / guide Abdelhak Hadel was a very good, safe and courteous driver. He was knowledgeable about places and statistics about Morocco. He would give suggestions on where to take the best shots and very willing to take pictures of us. He was very accommodating about our toilet stops. Our riad in Fes - Riad Fes Madaw was the best riad we stayed in. Ali, the owner was very accommodating when we requested a small birthday cake with candle at dinner as it was my 60th birthday. Our guide at Fes - Driss was also good showing us the ins and outs of the medina. He was greeted and knew a lot of locals while we were touring. We were disappointed with our hotel accommodations in Chefchaouen. Our room at Puerta Azul was dark and some outlets weren't working. But their breakfast and dinner were good. Overall a good tour for those on their first trip to Morocco.

We cannot recommend this tour enough, it is an excellent way to see and learn about major parts of Morocco if you have limited time. Initially we were surprised we were getting a private tour (we expected to be on a bus with a group) but if you can get a private tour guide, it is absolutely worth it. We never felt rushed, our guide, Abdel, was extremely kind and personable, and we watched other larger tour groups making their way through the souks and it seemed a bit chaotic. Yes, there is a lot of driving in this tour, but the scenery is beautiful. You get to see the major imperial cities, you get to walk inside the only mosque that allows tourists, you get a tourguide through a Fez souk, and you get to see many awesome places. Some of our favorite things included the monkeys in the Atlas mountains, and Chefchaouen. We mainly wanted to give a shoutout to our tour guide, Abdelhak Hadek (Abdel). He was absolutely awesome throughout the entire tour, and I don't think it would have been nearly as enjoyable if we had been with anyone else. He knew so much about every place we stopped, and he was so informative about the history and culture. We felt like we could ask him anything. I just wanted to give a few examples of how great he was, even though there are many reasons... When we arrived at one of our riads, we were swarmed with people trying to take our bags and walk them to the riad for us for money. Abdel politely but firmly told them to leave us alone and then continued to carry our luggage to the riad himself. When we got to the mountains, the spot that usually had all the monkeys was completely empty. He knew how excited I was to see them, so he walked us around until we eventually found them. I feel like most other people would have just given up and took us back to the car! In Chefchaouen, he took us around on his own tour and knew all the best spots for pictures. He literally followed us around like papparazzi and took TONS of candid and posed pictures. We ended up with some really great photos because of him. Some of the other reviews said they felt rushed, but we never felt that with him. When he would drop us of at a sightseeing place, he told us to take our time and to just let him know when we were ready and he would be there to pick us up! On our way back to Marrakech, we mentioned wanting to do a camel tour, and he went out of his way to set it up for us. He was honestly so great, so if you get the option, request a private tour with Abdel!

During our first visit to Morocco we decided to do a side trip from Marrakesh. We chose Click excursions 3 day / 2 night imperial city tour. We also decided a private tour would work better for us. Abdel was our driver. We were very happy with him. Nice car, good driver, happy to do anything we wished. Good communication with Click Excursions and Abel before the tour started and regarding pick up. We really enjoyed our tour. Yes it is a lot of hours in a car. Yes it is a long way but we felt it was great for the short time we had in Morocco. Fes (with a guide) was fascinating. The guide was very great. The medina is very different from Marrakesh. Enjoyed the visit to Chefchaouen. Yes Chefchaouen is a long way but in our opinion it was worth it. Try to see Chefchaouen in the afternoon or evening you arrive and then see possibly other parts the next morning. The shops and restaurants are mainly closed in the morning of your departure. The accommodation for our 2 nights was ok but not amazing. Best to describe it as 3 star not 4 or 5 star. Very traditional and not what western people are used to. The Riad we used in Fes was Riad Dar Chrifa. I dont think this is the normal accommodation they use. Loved the style and authenticity of the place but no warmth or charm. No communication from the staff, no information about anything. Food was just placed in front of you. No greetings or did you sleep well etc. They served chicken tagine for dinner. The chicken was cooked separately and then added to the sizzling tagine. I know because it was still cold and nearly frozen in the middle. If I understand correctly the chicken should be slow cooked in the tagine. The Hotel Azul in Chefchaouen was much better. More friendly and welcoming. Food was better and breakfast was very good. Do we regret staying in the places Click Excursions used. No. We wanted to experience some traditional Moroccan accommodation and they provided this. Top tip for this tour remember you are going from hot Marrakesh to the mountains at Ifran. Chefchaouen is also in the mountains. It can be cold and rainy. Dress appropriately. Hotels have no or limited heating so they can be cold. Go prepared for all weather conditions and temperatures. All in all we had a great time and would like to thank Abdel for being such a good guide and driver. He is an asset to Click Excursions. We highly recommend this tour if you have limited time in Morocco and have considered (and enjoy) the amount of driving and hours you are in the car (or van if you are on a group tour).
