Itinerary
Swimming ability in the ocean is required. Have you ever wondered what it feels like to breathe underwater? Shore diving on Maui offers the perfect conditions to try diving for your first time. Under the guidance of your dedicated instructor, you will learn about the basics of diving, practice a few skills in shallow water to get comfortable with breathing, and how to use the equipment before continuing for an exhilarating scuba dive. Guests often see turtles, eels, and large schools of tropical fish! The entire Introductory Dive experience takes about 2.5 hours.

Swimming Ability in the ocean is REQUIRED.
You must wait at least 18 hours to fly, zipline, or ascend to Haleakala AFTER your dive(s).
Before your lesson begins, you will fill out a medical statement to confirm that you are in good health to scuba dive. You must be able to answer "NO" to each question. A "YES" ON THE MEDICAL STATEMENT REQUIRES A DOCTOR CLEARANCE. Google "PADI Medical Form" to review and make sure you can answer no.
FAILURE TO ADHERE TO EACH OF THE ABOVE 3 STATEMENTS WILL LEAD TO REMOVAL FROM THE EXPERIENCE WITHOUT A REFUND.
