Overview

Lamar Lake is Miami's #1 location for manatee sightings during the region's manatee season between November and April each year. Outside of manatee season there are a number of other wildlife sightings common on our tours including dolphins, spotted eagle rays, great blue herons and a plethora of other local flora and fauna.

The experience takes in Miami's unique mix of natural and urban scenes including, weather permitting, Downtown Miami's iconic skyline as seen from Biscayne Bay.

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

Come join us as we explore Lamar Lake, Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic coast during Miami's much vaunted manatee season. Between November and April, these large peaceful sea mammals migrate into Biscayne Bay making it highly likely to spot them while riding paddleboards and kayaks in the bay and it's surrounding waters.

Currents and wind permitting we can also paddle along the Atlantic Coast or paddle into the bay to see the picturesque Miami skyline -- the perfect mix of the city's urban and natural environments.

Each guided tour is lead by an experienced paddle expert, is up to two hours long and includes rental of a kayak or standup paddle board, paddles and safety equipment.

    My family had a great time on this tour and got up close experience with several manatees. My kids (10 and 12) were able to handle the single kayaks and enjoyed having a little freedom to explore. Kelil was great tour guide and took great pictures for us that he shared after the tour. Entire staff was great and accommodated us even after we arrived late. Tip- Apple Maps will take you to the wrong location at the very end of the key so make sure your app gives directions to the location marked on the website map. Was a great experience and highly recommend!

    We had a great time kayaking. We did not see any manatees, but still had a good time. Parker is a great guide.

    The nature is amazing. Saw manatees up close. The guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. Also super Relaxing to be paddling on the water. Can’t believe this is only a 20 minute ride from central Miami.

    Andres our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local wildlife. Although we did not see any manatee he made the tour fun and shared his knowledge about the local area. We saw many different species of birds and fish. The views were amazing from paddling through mangroves to beautiful beaches. I highly recommend this tour.

    Andres and his team were amazing! The kayak tour was great. Andres was super knowledgeable and was able to point out cool wildlife we otherwise wouldn’t have seen. We got to paddle through mangroves, get up on a beach and see some incredible views of the coastline. He even took photos of us the whole time and then airdropped them to us so we could just focus on the tour. 10/10 would recommend.
