Marco was AMAZING!!! This is such a great tour. So many unique stops and things to experience. These are places you’d never find or stop at on your own. His local knowledge made this an incredible tour. We learned so much about the food, local customs, history, and the stories behind the eateries. The small group made it an intimate/private tour. The people at each stop were delightful. It’s clear they truly appreciated Marco and they treated us as honored guests. How this could have anything other than a 5-star rating is beyond me.

First of all Irena is a lovely, knowledgable person, she was wonderful....however the food and drink on this tour was lame. We started with a vinegar tasting, which was good and quite interesting! Things started to go downhill from there. We had some focaccia bread and some water. Next we sat out on a cold bench for about 15 minutes waiting for a sandwich. The sandwich was good, but… We were freezing. After that, we stopped for some meat and cheese and finally some wine… One glass each. Next, we made two dessert stops, one for cannoli and another for gelato. I would suggest a little more wine or other alcoholic drinks… We are on vacation after all. I've been on many other food tours in other cities, and I have paid just as much money for much higher quality, food and drink. also, this tour states that they will pick you up at your hotel… This is not true.

Marco was an amazing guide. He demonstrated great passion and knowledge in Italian food and culture. The variety of food was wonderful and it was great to visit traditional Italian venues. We couldn't praise Marco as a guide ant higher he was excellent.

Wonderful tasting tour with Marco. He is so enthusiastic and we went to places where he personally knows the chefs and owners. Products used from family farms. I thought I knew all there was to know about balsamic vinegar…now I do. I highly recommend and Marco should be your guide.
